티스토리로 넘어 오면서 이렇게 가사만 덩그라니 남았지요.

100원이든 200원이든 개인이 다음에서 사서 모은 곡을

이렇게 싹 자르면서 무시해도 되는지 저는 정말 모르겠습니다.

노래의 제목과 가사에서 알 수 있듯이 빈센트 반 고흐를 소재로 쓴 곡이다. 빈센트 반 고흐의 일대기를 읽고 감명 받아 쓴 곡으로, 그만큼 빈센트 반 고흐가 생전에 거의 듣지 못했던 위로를 담은 곡이다. 그만큼 유명해 고흐에 관련된 영상물에서는 심심치 않게 찾아볼 수 있을 정도. 거의 대부분 이 노래가 BGM으로 깔린다. UK 차트에서 1위를 하는 등 꽤나 히트한 노래다. 러빙 빈센트에서 주제곡으로 사용되었다.(나무위키)
